Project Overview

This project investigated the archaeology of the limestone ranges in the south central Kimberley to understand the complexity of the life ways of the Indigenous people of this region.

The Lifeways of the first Australias Project (LP100200415) is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project between Kimberley Foundation Australia, DEWHA, The University of Western Australia, The Australian National University and the Western Australian Museum.

This project was funded from 2011 – 2015.
